Shawn wrote his first piece of software back in 1983 on a TRS-80 model 1. After many years of writing code for fun, he took on Computer Science as part of his University studies. Since graduating, Shawn has had 14 years of IT industry experience, including 8 years in IT leadership roles.

He has a strong background in Operations Management and IT Service Management, combined with a firm foundation in technical engineering and administration. This combination of business and technical skills drives him to improve technology operations and support by creating superior business and technical solutions. His broad experience allows him to be comfortable providing tactical operational support alongside strategic solution architecture. His technical skills allow him to keep up with rapidly changing technology, and apply emerging opportunities to strategic visions.
